With Bigg Boss 18 set to make its much-anticipated return soon, excitement is building among fans of Salman Khan’s controversial reality show. One of the names that has been circulating as a potential contestant is popular television actor Dheeraj Dhoopar.
A source close to the production revealed that Dheeraj Dhoopar is likely to be finalized for Bigg Boss 18. While the actor has shown interest, the financial details are still being negotiated. “Yes, Dheeraj is in talks for Bigg Boss 18 for a long time. He was approached for previous seasons too, but this time he looks very much interested and is likely to get on board,” the source shared.
The source further added, “Discussions are underway, but it has come to my notice that Dheeraj is being roped in for around Rs 4-5 crore for the season. If this deal gets finalized, he will most likely be the most expensive contestant of Bigg Boss 18.”
Apart from Dheeraj Dhoopar, the makers of Bigg Boss 18 have reportedly approached several other notable names such as Zaan Khan, Meera Deosthale, Surbhi Jyoti, Kanika Mann, Shaheer Sheikh, Sameera Reddy, Deepika Arya, Somy Ali, Anjali Anand, Arjun Bijlani, and Mansi Srivastava. Additionally, Stree 2 actor Sunil Kumar is also likely to be a part of the upcoming season.
