Dhoni’s Khichdi Made India Win World Cup, Here’s What All His Diet & Workout Include

MS Dhoni, the former Indian skipper, is one of the most loved cricketers of the country and it won’t be wrong to say that he is one of the fittest cricketers of the present times which is proved by the fact that he is still playing the IPL and his contemporaries are busy with commentary and other sports related jobs.

Recently, Virender Sehwag revealed that MS Dhoni stuck to khichdi in the 2011 World Cup while everyone has their own superstitions and MSD felt that even if he is not able to score runs, the team should keep winning the matches.

Well, MS Dhoni has a very strict diet regime as in breakfast, he prefers to have a big glass of milk with fruits, porridge and almonds. In lunch, he likes to have dal chawal and in dinner, he prefers chapattis, vegetable with salad.

MS Dhoni likes to have only two drinks – first is protein shake and second is fruit juice. Dhoni’s exercise regime includes cardio, weightlifting and yoga and for increasing his reflexes, he also indulges in boxing and kickboxing.

As per the reports, Dhoni usually does these exercises –

• Machine chest press

• Prone dumbbell rowing

• Alternate dumbbell curl

• Dumbbell chest press

•  V –grip Lateral Pulldown

•  Lateral Pulldown

•  Reverse lunges on bench
