Punjabi superstar Diljit Dosanjh, known for his electrifying Dil-Luminati tour, has shared a glimpse of his upcoming movie “Punjab ’95” with a series of captivating images on Instagram.
The pictures reveal him portraying his character across different timelines, including a powerful shot inside a prison where he sits with his eyes closed under harsh lighting. Additional images show him reading newspapers and documents outside the prison, hinting at the film’s intense narrative.
Diljit Dosanjh also announced that the teaser for “Punjab ’95” will drop on January 17, coinciding with the release of Kangana Ranaut’s directorial ‘Emergency’. Both films share a historical connection linked to former Indian Prime Minister Indira Gandhi.
It was under her directive that Operation Blue Star was carried out to remove Khalistani terrorists from the Golden Temple in Amritsar, which eventually led to her assassination and the subsequent crackdown on Khalistani elements in Punjab, events that form the backdrop for “Punjab ’95”.
