Dilkhush Kumar, from Bihar’s Saharsa area, worked as a rickshaw puller and a vegetable trader. He started a business with a used automobile and today his firm, RodBez, is worth crores. He has engaged IITians and several IIM grads for his new venture.

There are certain people in the world who have demonstrated that working hard and never giving up hope, even in the worst of circumstances, can yield benefits someday. Dilkhush Kumar’s tale demonstrates this. He is originally from a tiny hamlet in Bihar and worked as a rickshaw puller and vegetable dealer. He is currently the founder and CEO of RodBez, a multibillion-dollar firm.

Dilkhush is from the Bihar district of Saharsa. He has only completed Class 12 of his education. He wants to start his own business and provide cab services in Bihar. Thus Kumar began Rodbez. The firm is not like other cab companies such as Uber or Ola.

It is essentially a database firm that links consumers with taxi drivers and offers automobiles for longer-distance outstation travel of more than 50 kilometres.

Dilkhush stated that graduates from top universities such as IIT Guwahati were employed and backed his ideas. He further stated that several IIM students have worked part-time for his firm.

Dilkhush became upset when remembering about his past and said that he used to be a rickshaw puller in Delhi. He also sold veggies on Patna’s streets. He was regarded uncouth and illiterate when he went for an interview for the position of guard.

Dilkhush was also asked to identify the iPhone logo, which he couldn’t for the reason that it was his first time viewing one. He never quit up, though, because he had a family to feed.

Dilkhush learned to drive from his bus driver father. Due to financial constraints, he only completed Class 12 and began driving to supplement his income.

He really began Rodbez with simply a used Tata Nano. After creating Rodbez, Dilkhush and his co-workers were able to raise Rs 4 Cr in 6 months to 7 months. In the initial phase, the firm is offering service from Patna to every village in Bihar. It will connect cities in the second phase. Their goal is to have a cab in every village in Bihar. They plan to expand their services from outside Bihar in near future.

The most appealing aspect of Rodbez is the compensation offered to drivers. Dilkhush is familiar with the drivers’ habits, and the company shells out them between Rs 55k and 60k per month.
