Television actress and popular vlogger Dipika Kakar is currently facing a difficult health challenge, as she has been diagnosed with a tumour in her liver. The news was shared by her husband, actor Shoaib Ibrahim, through one of his recent YouTube vlogs. Shoaib revealed that Dipika had been experiencing persistent stomach pain over the past few days. Initially, they believed it was a common infection and she was put on medication. But when the discomfort intensified, doctors recommended further investigation.
“Our doctor asked us to visit again and when we met him, he asked us to do a CT scan and it showed that Dipika Kakar has a tumour in the left lobe of her liver. It is bigger in size like a tennis ball. It was very shocking for us,” Shoaib recounted, visibly shaken by the development.
Once the tumour was detected, additional tests were carried out to determine if it was cancerous. Thankfully, preliminary reports have shown no presence of cancer cells. Shoaib expressed relief over this but also mentioned that some critical test results are still awaited. In the meantime, Dipika has been admitted to Kokilaben Hospital, where she is expected to undergo surgery soon.
The couple has received an outpouring of support from fans and fellow celebrities, and Shoaib thanked everyone for their prayers and well-wishes. Dipika, who has been a beloved figure in the television world and on digital platforms, remains in the hospital for now, with her family hoping for a successful surgery and a smooth recovery.
