Dipika Kakar and Shoaib Ibrahim have remained one of the most adored couples in the Indian television industry. Their love story began on the sets of Sasural Simar Ka, and in 2018, they tied the knot.
Over the years, they have built a strong connection with their fans through vlogging, offering a peek into their daily lives via YouTube. Recently, their marriage was the subject of rumors, with speculations of a possible divorce. Shoaib decided to address the buzz in his latest vlog.
Responding to the rumors with humor, Shoaib playfully teased Dipika, saying, “Tumne mujhe bataya nahi ke industry mein ek aur shaadi toot rahi hai woh hamari hai (You didn’t tell me that one more marriage is being broken in the industry, and it is ours).” Dipika, matching his wit, responded, “Main kyu batao tumko? Main sumdi mein yeh sab karungi (Why should I tell you? I will do all these things secretly).” Shoaib then shared the news reports with his family, turning the speculation into a lighthearted moment that made everyone laugh. Continuing the banter, he quipped, “Ramzan ka mahina pura nikal dete hai uske baad dekhenge,” before firmly stating, “Kuch bhi mat news banaye”.
On a more serious note, Dipika recently announced her early departure from Celebrity MasterChef India due to health concerns. After making a return to television through the cooking reality show, she began experiencing severe pain in her left shoulder. Though initial medication provided temporary relief, the pain resurfaced once the treatment ended, forcing her to withdraw from the competition.
Addressing her fans through her YouTube channel, Dipika revealed that she had been diagnosed with lymph nodes and, as a result, chose to step away from the show to focus on her health. “Last week when the contestants were celebrating festivals, I started getting pain in my shoulder. Since the time I reached the sets, I started getting shoulder pain and the production people took me to the hospital,” she shared, explaining her difficult but necessary decision.
