In the nation’s capital, Delhi, petrol is still offered for 96.72 rupees a litre and diesel for 89.62.
On Thursday, July 15, the cost of price and diesel stayed the same in significant cities including New Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai, and Chennai. At six in the morning on the day in question, the daily price and diesel rates new or constant are announced. However, because of value-added tax (VAT), freight costs, local taxes, etc., these differ from state to state.
The cost of petrol and diesel in the nation’s largest cities remains unchanged on Saturday. Daily petrol price reviews are conducted by oil marketing corporations (OMCs), and new or unaltered prices are released at 6 am every day.
Prices for petrol and diesel are set in India by oil marketing companies (OMCs) such Indian Oil, Bharat Petroleum, and Hindustan Petroleum. Rates are set daily, according to the global price of crude oil, and this is done on an ongoing basis.
In Delhi, a litre of petrol costs 96.72 rupees and a litre of diesel costs 89.62 rupees. In Mumbai, a litre of petrol costs 106.31 rupees and a similar amount of diesel costs 94.27 rupees.
