Playing an air hostess in the heart-pounding action movie “Yodha,” Disha Patani recalls playing volleyball with star Sidharth Malhotra during production breaks.
Disha, who was in the nation’s capital on Monday to promote her film, which was directed by Sagar Ambre and Pushkar Ojha, looked stunning in a white silk saree and a matching embroidered sleeveless top with a sweetheart neckline. Disha was in the city with Sidharth and Raashii Khanna.
Disha talked about the enjoyable activities they engaged in while filming the film. “We shot the entire schedule in the plane, and whenever we had a break, we used to play volleyball on the set,” she recalled. So that was our enjoyable activity. Sidharth continued by describing how Disha continued to work out while filming “Yodha.”
“I remember shooting for ten days, and then came Disha’s sequence,” he remarked. We were standing in a Mumbai studio when she arrived on set. For food, there was a simple tent setup in addition to a vanity van. Some people approached me when Disha arrived and remarked, “Wow, you have a gym set up outside; you’re going to work out on the set.”
Ten days prior, I stated that there was no gym on the set. I then learned that Disha had brought her gym with her when she arrived. That really amazed me since that’s how committed she is to being fit. She dressed as a saree in this movie, but he pointed out that she had her gym organised to ensure she didn’t skip a workout.
Sidharth went on to praise his co-star, saying, “I think people see her dedication not only in the physical aspect but she has performed really well in the film.”
“I believe this is Sidharth’s best film ever, given his performance and appearance,” Disha continued. In the movie, Raashii is equally unbelievable.”
“Yodha” is the first installment of an action franchise that Sidharth will be the face of.
Hiroo Yash Johar, Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, and Shashank Khaitan are all involved in its production. The movie is expected for release on March 15.
