Divya Khossla Lashes Out At Karan Johar For His Cryptic Post About Fools

Actress Divya Khossla, wife of producer Bhushan Kumar, has lashed out at filmmaker Karan Johar following a cryptic note he shared. Karan’s message came after Divya accused him of inflating the box office numbers for Jigra, a film produced by Alia Bhatt, and claimed it was a copy of her own movie Savi. In a recent interview, Divya expressed disappointment over the “derogatory language” Karan allegedly used to dismiss her claims, stating that his remarks were an attempt to silence her.

During the interview, Divya made it clear that she does not need publicity stunts to gain attention, emphasizing her established fame in the industry. She questioned whether it is right for Karan to call a woman a “fool” for pointing out unethical practices, especially in a field where many newcomers face similar challenges.

Divya said, “Is it right to call a woman a fool for pointing out unethical practices? If this happens to me, what about those new to the industry? No one is a king here, and I won’t be treated like a subject.”

The controversy began when Divya Khossla claimed that Jigra had copied the storyline of Savi, a film produced by Alia Bhatt’s uncle, Mukesh Bhatt. The situation escalated when Divya visited a theatre screening Jigra and posted a photo of an empty hall, accusing Karan Johar and Alia Bhatt of inflating the movie’s box office figures.

Although Alia Bhatt has yet to respond publicly to the allegations, Divya mentioned in the interview that she had spoken to Mukesh Bhatt regarding the similarities between the two films. However, she clarified that she does not intend to involve him in the controversy unnecessarily.
