Hours after this announcement, bassist Mohini Dey also revealed her separation from her husband, Mark Hartsuch. However, recent clarifications have dismissed any connection between Rahman’s divorce and Mohini Dey’s personal decision.
Vandana Shah, Saira Banu’s lawyer, categorically denied any association between the divorces. In a statement to a portal, she said, “There is no connection at all. Saira and Mr Rahman made this decision on their own.”
