The romantic comedy, which stars Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon in the key roles, was written and directed by Amit Joshi and Aradhana Sah, two first-time directors. In the movie, Shahid plays a robot scientist who falls in love with Kriti’s incredibly smart female robot, Sifra. The movie debuted on February 9, 2024, in cinemas.

Zee5 Farrey (April 5)

Every year, Bollywood sees a number of fantasy debuts; in 2023, Salman Khan and Farrey introduced his niece Alizeh Agnihotri. Student slang term “farrey” refers to little slips of paper with answers that they smuggle into test rooms. Soumendra Padhi, who also helmed the critically acclaimed Netflix series Jamtara, is directing this movie. November 24, 2023 saw the theatrical debut of the film.

Season 2 of Loot on Apple TV+ (April 3)

In this new episode of the Apple TV+ comedy series, Joel Kim Booster, Michael Jae Rodriguez, Maya Rudolph, and others are back. Maya plays Molly Wells, an affluent divorcee, in the ensemble comedy directed by Alan Yang and Matt Hubbard.

Disney+ Hotstar Wish (April 3)

This weekend, plan a movie night with the family because Disney’s most recent animated picture is currently available to stream on Disney+ Hotstar. It depicts the lives of Asha, a 17-year-old girl in the Kingdom of Rosas, as she learns a terrible secret about Magnifico, her nation’s despotic monarch, and is directed by Chris Buck and Fawn Veerasunthorn.

Netflix and Ripley (April 4)

Ripley, written and produced by The Irishman’s Steve Zaillian, an Academy Award winner, will transport you on a suspenseful voyage through 1960s Italy. Leading the eight-episode limited series as the roguish protagonist Tom Ripley is Andrew Scott (Fleabag, Sherlock).

Apple TV+, Sugar (April 5)

This Apple TV+ series, a light-hearted nod to the genre’s classics, stars Colin Farrell as Los Angeles private investigator John Sugar, recruited by film producer James Cromwell to track for his missing granddaughter Sydney Chandler. Even her father, Dennis Boutsikaris, has given up on her and her drug-abusing behaviour due to her frequent disappearances.

Parasyte: Netflix’s The Grey (Apr. 5)

In Netflix’s Korean sci-fi horror film Parasyte: The Grey, things get a whole lot creepier. The show, which is based on Hitoshi Iwaaki’s Japanese manga Parasyte, tells the story of a young lady who is “caught between her humanity and parasitic influence.” “When unidentified parasites violently take over human hosts and gain power, humanity must rise to combat the growing threat,” Netflix said of the series.

Netflix scoop (April 5th)

The dramatized story, Scoop, by Gillian Anderson and Rufus Sewell, centres on the BBC’s Newsnight team’s extraordinary and illuminating 2019 interview with Prince Andrew on his involvement with wealthy sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein. Additionally featured in Philip Martin’s Netflix film on privilege, sexual exploitation, and journalism are Billie Piper, Keeley Hawes, and Romola Garai.
