Don’t Test My Patience: Shaheen Afridi Warns As Pakistan’s T20 Captaincy Fiasco Continues

The Pakistani cricketer Shaheen Afridi is certainly angry and upset as the Pakistan Cricket Board removed him from the post of the T20 skipper and once again appointed Babar Azam as the skipper of the T20 team.

Babar Azam was removed from the captaincy after the Pakistani team’s poor performance in the ODI World Cup which was held in India. At that time, Shaheen Afridi was appointed as the T20I skipper and Shan Masood was appointed as the test skipper.

Recently PCB shocked everyone by taking a U-turn and fans and supporters of Shaheen are also unhappy as they feel that Shaheen was not given enough time to prove himself. The Pakistani team played only one international T20I series under his leadership, Pakistan played it against New Zealand and lost it by 4-1. What made things worse for Shaheen was that his PSL team Lahore Qalandars managed to win only one match and ended the tournament at the last spot of the points table.

Shaheen got more upset when PCB published a fake statement citing that it is said by Shaheen but in reality, Shaheen never said it. The PCB chairman tried to pacify the pacer and a photo was also published featuring Shaheen and the PCB chairman shaking hands.

Now the pacer has posted a video clip on his Instagram in which he shared a strong message, “Never ever put me in a position where I have to show you how cruel and ruthless I can be. Don’t test my patience. Because I might be the kindest and sweetest person you’ve ever met, but once I reach my limit, you’ll see me do the things that no one thought I was capable of doing.”

What is your take on this matter?
