Dr. William Richard Edward is only 35 years old young physician who had achieved many milestones in such a short time. He was born and brought up in Chennai, Tamilnadu. Dr. William always aspires to become a doctor even though he was talented in fields like sports, and performing arts. Unfortunately, he didn’t have a pleasant childhood. Because of some rough family issues, he had to discontinue his education after school. He worked as a courier boy, went for door to door selling, and even worked as an office boy. After much struggle, he managed to save for himself and continued his medical education.
Road to Educational excellence-
With his low saving, first Dr. William Richard Edward could only afford to complete a course in Bachelor of Physical therapy from DR. MGR University. But with God’s grace and part-time jobs, he went on to complete his Master’s degree. During that period, he also excelled in sports activities like horse riding, archery and shooting. It was then, the idea to amalgamate both medicine and his interest in sports made Dr. William Richard Edward think about becoming a sports scientist.(Sports scientists use knowledge of how the body mechanism help people improve their sporting ability or health).
