Meta Director of Competition and Regulatory Tim Lamb said, “They can also manage their Instagram and Facebook accounts separately to stop their information from being shared.”
Facebook Messenger users can choose to use it using their Facebook account or create a new account.
Lamb said anybody who create a Messenger account without Facebook can utilize private messages, chat, audio, and video calling.
FB Marketplace
Facebook Marketplace users can opt to use their Facebook data or not.
“People who use Facebook information for Marketplace will keep their current experience. People who don’t use Facebook for Marketplace can still browse listings and buy and sell products, the firm said.
