After maintaining complete silence on the India’s Got Latent controversy, YouTuber Ashish Chanchlani has finally spoken out. On Monday, March 3, he shared a video message with his fans, visibly distressed but determined to face the situation. Chanchlani assured his followers that he would fight with all his strength and urged them to support him when he makes his return after the turmoil settles.
Addressing his audience in an emotional video, Chanchlani spoke for the first time following the uproar caused by YouTuber Ranveer Allahabadia’s controversial “s*x with parents” remark on Samay Raina’s show. In his message, he said, “Hello doston, kaise ho aap log, I know, aapke messages padhe maine, chal raha hai. Maine socha story pe aapse baat karlun lekin ab samajh nahi aa raha kya kahoon. Lad lenge situation se, dekhe hain aise tough times, isse bhi kuch naya seekh lenge (Hello friends, how are you all? I know, I’ve read your messages—everything is going on. I thought of talking to you through a story, but now I don’t know what to say. We’ll fight through this situation; we’ve seen tough times before, and we’ll learn something new from this too).”
He continued, expressing his gratitude and requesting support, “Main bas request karta hoon aap logon se ki aap meri family aur mujhe apne prayers mein rakhna. Jab bhi main wapis aau, kaam mera thoda idhar udhar ho gaya hain. Jab bhi wapis aaya, support karna. I’ll work hard. Bas dhyaan rakho sab log apna (I just have one request—please keep my family and me in your prayers. Whenever I return, my work might have been a bit all over the place. But when I come back, please support me. I’ll work hard. Just take care of yourselves, everyone).”
Following his heartfelt message, an outpouring of support flooded social media. Celebrities, fellow YouTubers, and fans rallied behind him.
Meanwhile, in February 2025, Ashish Chanchlani moved the Supreme Court, seeking to quash or transfer to Mumbai a First Information Report (FIR) filed against him in Guwahati. He is among those named in the case linked to the India’s Got Latent controversy, where Ranveer Allahabadia is the primary accused for his controversial remarks. The Guwahati High Court granted Chanchlani interim bail while hearing his anticipatory bail petition, instructing him to appear before the investigating officer within 10 days.
As Chanchlani navigates these turbulent times, his supporters stand firmly by his side, awaiting his return with renewed strength and resilience.
