Shah Rukh Khan’s fans are eagerly waiting for his next movie, Dunki which is slated to release on 22 December 2023 and the trailer of the movie has already got a good response from the audiences. 2023 is certainly SRK’s year as his two movies, Pathaan and Jawan shattered many records at the box-office and now the industry experts are pretty sure that Dunki will also perform very well.
This is the first time that Shah Rukh Khan and director Rajkumar Hirani are working together, though King Khan was approached for the role of Rancho in 3 Idiots, he refused the movie as he didn’t have dates at that time and the role went to Aamir Khan. The movie was a big hit and it was applauded by the critics as well.
Recently, during a #AskSRK session, a fan asked SRK whether he was approached by Rajkumar Hirani for Dunki or it was vice-versa and in response, SRK gave a very funny answer as he wrote, “Maine @RajkumarHirani ke ghar ke aage tent laga liya tha. Wahin kahaani bhi suni aur wahin sign bhi kar li. Editing bhi wahin chal rahi hai!!! #Dunki”
