Shah Rukh Khan’s co-owned team was not able to win the IPL title in the beginning years even in the captaincy of legendary Sourav Ganguly but things turned brighter for them when the KKR management bought Gautam Gambhir for a whopping price of Rs. 11 crore in the IPL auctions for 2011.
Gautam Gambhir justified the faith that was shown in him by the KKR management as KKR won the IPL 2012 and then KKR won their second title in 2014 under Gambhir’s captaincy.
