Farah Khan Speaks Out on Bollywood Stars’ Vanity Van Requests: “No Compromise”

Recently, Farah Khan made an angry statement on celebrities and their growing requests for Vanity Vans. Farah continued by saying that certain celebrities in the business need four vanity vehicles for their own usage. The director-choreographer further highlighted the performers’ extravagant demands by saying that they would only be allowed to work after their vanity trucks arrived on the sets.

Filmmaker and choreographer Farah Khan talked about the high expectations of movie stars in a recent video, saying that at the beginning of their workday, each celebrity may need up to four vanity trucks. In an interview on YouTube, Farah disclosed the personal vehicles that TV stars use for their own usage, among other behind-the-scenes essentials, alongside TV actress Dipika Kakkar and her husband Shaoib Ibrahim.

“They don’t act until the vans don’t come,” she revealed. These days, the average actor has four vehicles. Just one individual. They have one for their personnel, one for their gym, one for them, and one for themselves. After that, a different food truck arrives.

Farah is familiar with the demands of large stars, having directed actors like as Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, Akshay Kumar, and Katrina Kaif. She emphasised how on-set facilities have changed over time, pointing out the opulent upgrades in vanity trailers, such as full-scale kitchens and gyms. Farah thought back to the good old days when actors got by with less, changing under trees and hiding behind towels or bedsheets for seclusion during outdoor filming, as opposed to the modern demands that demand that players begin work until once their customised vehicles are ready.

In the past, we would hold towels for heroines while they changed under trees. I completed it for them. Even in Switzerland, people would change under buses and cover with bedsheets when they went for outdoor photo sessions. The performers now stay still until their vehicles arrive,” she recollected.

Furthermore, these vanity vehicles now contain a lot of intricate features. During the current marketing of Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, Akshay Kumar mentioned that his van is prepared to make customised meals based on his dietary requirements. In order to make exercising in between takes easier, Tiger Shroff also disclosed that his vehicle has been transformed into a gym.
