The Prime Minister warned that overusing AI as a “magic tool” might cause significant injustices. He also stressed that carelessness in AI use is unacceptable. He even proposed a ChatGPT tournament.

PM Modi said that at the G20 Summit in Indonesia, foreign leaders were inquisitive about India’s digital transformation. He said India democratized technology to prevent monopolies by making it people-focused.

PM Modi said Indian women are more open to new technologies when discussing the digital divide. He promoted ‘Namo Drone Didi’ PM noted that these recipients couldn’t ride a bike but can now fly drones, emphasizing the mentality change.

Modi advised clear watermarks on AI-generated content to prevent misrepresentation. He added that AI-generated deepfake content must be acknowledged. Modi also stressed the necessity for AI usage rules.
