Gadkari issues big statement on India’s export, import

Union Minister Nitin Gadkari wants to increase India’s export and reduce the country’s import. According to him, this is the new way ahead for ‘swadeshi’ and patriotism.

On Sunday (December 24), Union Minister Nitin Gadkari issued a statement saying that increasing exports and reducing imports is the new way for patriotism and “swadeshi” and that India will have “new freedom” when it imports no petrol or diesel. The Minister of Road Transport and Highways stated halting petrol and diesel imports will stop global terrorism.

He predicted that India’s auto industry would top the world in five years.

“Auto imports are at their peak. “We must become number one in exports to become vishwaguru (world leader) and USD five trillion economy,” he remarked.

India rose from seventh to third in vehicle exports three months ago, surpassing Japan.

“I can tell you we will be number one in the next five years based on our initiatives like atmanirbhar Bharat (self reliant India) and sushaasan (good governance),” the minister said.
