Four major cities have seen a price decrease for 19-kilogram commercial liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) cylinders, according to state-run Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs). As of November 16, prices have significantly dropped to Rs 57.5 per cylinder.

The price reduction is a relief after a significant increase of Rs 101.5 per cylinder shortly before Diwali, and it will be mirrored in Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, and Chennai.

The 19-kg commercial LPG cylinder will now cost Rs 1,775.5 in New Delhi, Rs 1,885.5 in Kolkata, Rs 1,728 in Mumbai, and Rs 1,942 in Chennai, according to the updated pricing.

Domestic LPG cylinder costs have not altered, despite a decline in commercial LPG costs. For the second time in the previous two months, the ONCs increased the cost of commercial LPG cylinders at various locations around the nation at the beginning of this month. Every month on the first of the month, the cost of LPG cylinders, both residential and commercial, is adjusted.

It is anticipated that the price drop on commercial LPG cylinders will lessen the financial strain on establishments like hotels and restaurants that primarily rely on LPG for cooking.
