Sundar Pichai also said Google will create a global financial operation center in Gujarat’s GIFT City.

He said, “We informed the Prime Minister about Google’s $10 billion investment in India’s digitization fund. We are officially launching our worldwide financial operation center in Gujarat’s GIFT City.

PM Modi urged US companies to invest in India at the Kennedy Center’s US-India Strategic Cooperation Forum.
On Thursday, President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden held a 400-person State Dinner honoring Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the White House.
During the event, Prime Minister Modi honored Indian Americans for their contributions to nation-building and India-US ties.
He said the guests “symbolize so much about the US-India relationship, including our energy, dynamism, and potential.”
“You have gathered a group of exceptionally talented and remarkable people tonight, I must commend you for that,” he said, thanking President Biden and the first lady for hosting the dinner and toasting his “wonderful” guests. Modi translated his Hindi speech into English.
Indira Nooyi, Satya Nadella, and Narayen attended the event. Industrialist Anand Mahindra was also present.
The main course of the State Dinner was stuffed portobello mushrooms with creamy saffron risotto. Marinated millet, grilled corn kernel salad, compressed watermelon, and a zesty avocado sauce for the first course.
Sumac-grilled sea bass, lemon-dill yogurt sauce, crisped millet cakes, and summer squash were among the dishes requested. Dessert of strawberry-rose-cardamom shortcake.
The following wines were featured: Stone Tower Chardonnay “Kristi” 2021, PATEL Red Blend 2019, and Domain Carneros Brut Rose.
