Government may raise amount for farmers under Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi

According to media reports, the Central Government may enhance farmers’ Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi yearly payments.

The farmers receive Rs 6,000 in three instalments under this program. Farmers have demanded this amount for years. In response to demand, the government may increase this payment by 50%, from Rs. 2000 to Rs. 3000.

PM Kisan Samman Nidhi puts Rs 2000 into farmer accounts three times a year.

A government insider said the PM’s Office has been offered more PM Kisan Samman Nidhi. If the government accepts, the annual burden will grow from 20,000 to 30,000 crore rupees.

However, when the farmers’ accounts would get the greater payment is unknown.This should be settled before this year’s four state elections. By year’s end, Telangana, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, and the state will have assembly elections.

Farmers everywhere want only a few states’ farmers to gain from the crop MSP. In response to this demand, the government would buy more food grains at MSP. The farmers’ revenue will increase.

Experts say the central government can help the public despite rising inflation, even on gasoline-diesel and LPG cylinders. LPG cylinder prices have nearly quadrupled in the previous three years. However, diesel and gasoline cost roughly Rs. 100 per litre. The people’s household budgets have suffered tremendously. In contrast, inflation has grown rapidly. The government can decrease fuel prices to help.
