The TV actress and Krushna Abhishek’s sister Arti Singh got married to Dipak Chauhan a couple of days back and Govinda’s presence at the ceremony certainly made Arti and her family happier.
Govinda and his wife have been at loggerheads with Krushna Abhishek and his wife Kashmera Shah since 2016 because of which many thought that Govinda would not attend Arti’s wedding.
Kashmera Shah had said earlier that she would touch Govinda’s feet and apologize but at the wedding, Govinda didn’t let her touch his feet. This is what Kashmera told, “He was angry with Krushna and me, but not with Arti. I hoped he attended the ceremony for her, and I am glad he did. As luck would have it, I was the only one present at the entrance welcoming the guests when he entered, while Krushna was with Arti on stage. He and I were walking on opposite sides, and it felt surreal, to be honest.”
She further said, “Our eyes met; I bowed with a namaste and he smiled back. I walked up to him and straightaway took him to the stage. I bent down to touch his feet, but he didn’t let me, just like how elders stop you from bending down and bless you before that. He said, ‘Jeete raho, khush raho’. I bent to touch his feet. That is the apology. As a daughter-in-law, I had to do it.”
Kashmera also introduced her kids to Govinda and the actor blessed them. While everyone is talking about Govinda attending the wedding, people are wondering why Govinda’s wife didn’t attend the ceremony. What do you think?
