Harda Blast Horror: 11 Dead, 100 Injured, 60 Homes Destroyed in Devastating Fire

A large fire that started inside a firecracker factory in Harda, Madhya Pradesh, resulted in many explosions, terrified the inhabitants nearby, and left at least 11 people dead and over 60 wounded.

Speaking to the crowd, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav stated that in addition to Minister Ranvendra Pratap Singh, DG Home, and over 400 police officers, more than 50 ambulances had been dispatched to the scene of the tragedy.

The chief minister further said that the injured would receive free medical care and that the family of the deceased would receive an ex-gratia payment of Rs 4 lakh.

A video of the incident shows tall flames and smoke billowing from the factory. On the road next to it, people are seen fleeing in fear as the blasts ring through the air.
