Hardik’s Exact Words To Tilak Varma Caught On Stump Mic Before Controversial Six

The Indian skipper Hardik Pandya must be a happy person as the Indian team managed to keep the 5-match T20I series alive by winning the third T20I against West Indies by 7 wickets. The winning shot was played by the skipper himself as he smashed a six to make his team win the match. But as Hardik Pandya finished the match, people started slamming him and some even called him selfish, shameless and a pathetic skipper. The reason behind it was that the young Indian cricketer Tilak Varma got stranded on the score of 49 and he was not able to finish his fifty even when 13 balls were remaining in the Indian innings.

Now a video is going viral in which Hardik Pandya is seen having few words with Tilak Varma, he said it to Varma when the youngster needed 6 runs to finish his fifty and India needed 12 to win in the 23 balls. Hardik said, “Tereko especially khatam karna hai, rukna hai. Gendo ka fark padta hai” (Especially you have to stay there and finish the game. The number of balls faced makes a difference.)

Here is the video:

If we go by the words of Hardik Pandya, then he certainly wanted Tilak to finish the game but what may have prompted Hardik to finish the match was the fact that Tilak scored just 5 runs in the one over that he played at that time.

What is your take in this regard?
