Anticipation is high for Ranveer Singh’s upcoming film, Don 3, and fans are eagerly awaiting every update. Recently, during an interview, music director Shankar Mahadevan provided insight into the film’s musical progress, revealing that work on the soundtrack has not yet commenced.
Speaking about the latest developments on Don 3, Shankar Mahadevan stated, “We haven’t started the music setting yet. Hopefully, they (the makers) will be setting soon.” He also took the opportunity to reflect on his long-standing professional relationship with director Farhan Akhtar and his sister, Zoya Akhtar. “They have been an important part of my career graph. My first video, Breathless, was directed by Farhan and Zoya together. They did it together as a duo. And then, we did music for many of Zoya’s films like Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, Dil Dhadakne Do, and Luck By Chance.”
This suggests a strong likelihood of the trio collaborating on Don 3’s music when production eventually begins.
