Aadar Jain recently left many surprised when he candidly admitted to his now-wife, Alekha Advani, during one of their pre-wedding celebrations that his past relationships were nothing more than a “time pass.” While his former girlfriend, Tara Sutaria, chose to remain silent on the matter, her mother, Tina Sutaria, seemingly took a veiled dig at Aadar through social media.
Tina Sutaria took to her Instagram stories and posted a thought-provoking note: “If your boyfriend/husband ever says anything disrespectful to you, tell him to write it down on a piece of paper, get in his car, drive and deliver it to his mother, or simply hand it to his daughter. If he can’t say it to his mother or doesn’t want another man to one day say it to his daughter, he shouldn’t be saying it to you (sic).” While she refrained from tagging anyone directly, the timing of her post has raised questions.
The controversy stemmed from a viral video taken at Aadar Jain’s mehendi ceremony, where he was heard expressing his love for Alekha. He said, “I have always loved her and I have always wanted to be with her. So she sent me on this long journey of 20 years through time-pass. It was worth the wait because I get to marry this beautiful, beautiful woman, who looks like a dream. I love you, and it was worth the wait. It’s a secret, I have always loved her. I have done time pass for four years of my life. But now I’m with you, baby.”
His statement did not sit well with many, with netizens criticizing him for seemingly dismissing his past relationship as a mere distraction. Before tying the knot with Alekha Advani, Aadar was in a relationship with Tara Sutaria. However, the couple parted ways in 2023.
