Healthcare firm CEO tweets how his cousin got caught using ChatGPT for his 7th-grade homework; post goes viral

Roshan Patel  shared a post on Twitter about his cousin who used ChatGPT for his 7th-grade homework. The cousin got caught doing so, because of a silly mistake.

200 Since its introduction in November 2022, Microsoft-backed OpenAI’s ChatGPT has enthralled and inspired people all around the world. This OpenAI chatbot has sparked much interest owing to its capacity to pass examinations and participate in human-like conversational engagements. As individuals continue to investigate the potential of ChatGPT, one particular instance published on Twitter piqued their interest.

Roshan Patel, the founder and CEO of healthcare platform Walnut, detailed how his cousin attempted to finish his seventh-grade English assignment using the chatbot. Patel posted a snapshot of his cousin’s homework, plainly demonstrating the cause for his cousin’s exposure.

Patel added in his tweet, “My little cousin Arjun was caught using ChatGPT for his 7th grade English homework.” “As an AI language model, I don’t have personal expectations or opinions,” he said in response to a query. Furthermore, he stated that the ending of Amy Tan’s novel, “The Joy Luck Club,” is widely regarded as striking and meaningful.

The post quickly went viral, and numerous people responded with their own amusing views.

While it is never a good idea to use ChatGPT or any other AI program to cheat your way through school tasks, if you do decide to use it, it could be a good idea to read through the completed work before submitting it. Just a thought!
