Hina Khan has found herself at the center of a social media storm following her vocal support for the Indian army’s recent actions against terrorism. On Saturday, the actress took to her platforms to share that she has been receiving an outpouring of hateful and abusive messages, particularly after she publicly backed Operation Sindoor. Undeterred by the backlash, Hina posted a heartfelt and assertive note addressing the trolls, making it clear that her loyalty to her country is unwavering.

In her statement, she acknowledged the affection she had long received from across the border but expressed dismay over the turn in sentiment since she chose to speak in support of her nation. She revealed that many people had unfollowed her, hurled curses, and even directed cruel remarks at her personal life, including her health, family, and faith.

“All my Life I only saw affection from across the border. After supporting my country before and after Operation Sindoor. Many of you abused me, cursed me, many have unfollowed me. Many more threatening to unfollow me,” she wrote in her note. She continued with a poignant observation: “This threat is accompanied by abuses, salacious and demeaning hate directed not just to me but to my medical condition, my family and even my faith. I don’t expect you to support my country. You support yours that’s ok, I don’t expect you to understand the nuances beyond the mutual alienations. I only hoped that you will conduct yourself at least as humanly as I have been towards you all.”

With her powerful message, Hina Khan reaffirmed her stance while also calling for basic human decency, even amid differing national loyalties. Her response has resonated with many, reflecting both the cost and courage of taking a public stand in times of heightened political tensions.
