How Attacker Reached Saif Ali Khan’s 12th Floor? 15 Teams Formed By Police For Investigation

The investigation into the stabbing of Saif Ali Khan escalated on Thursday as Mumbai Police intensified their efforts to determine how the attacker accessed the 12th floor of the Bandra residential building where the actor resides with his family.

Saif Ali Khan was stabbed six times, including two deep wounds, one dangerously close to his spine. The attack occurred in the early hours of Thursday during an attempted robbery, after which Khan was hospitalized at Lilavati Hospital for treatment.

Three people have been detained for questioning as the police continue to search for the absconding attacker. Initial findings suggest that the assailant was a thief motivated purely by theft. Authorities are working to understand how the attacker managed to bypass multiple layers of security, including CCTV cameras, automatic gates, and security personnel, to reach the 12th floor.

CCTV footage from the building and Saif Ali Khan’s flat has been seized for review. The Crime Branch is also investigating whether the attacker was indeed a thief or had other motives. The police have been interrogating the domestic staff, the lift operator, and security guards while also taking custody of employees’ mobile phones for further examination.

To establish identities and uncover any connections, the statements of seven house helps who stay at Khan’s residence around the clock will also be recorded. A total of 15 teams have been formed by the Mumbai Police to handle the investigation.
