HP India today launched the OmniBook Ultra Flip, its first AI-powered 2-in-1 laptop. It includes Intel’s Lunar Lake CPUs and a dedicated Neural Processing Unit (NPU) capable of performing 48 trillion operations per second.
Price and availability
The tablet, aimed at freelancers and multimedia makers, is now available beginning at Rs 1,81,999. The new laptop is available in Eclipse Grey and Atmospheric Blue for the Ultra 7 and only Atmospheric Blue for the Ultra 9.
The OmniBook Ultra Flip has a 2.8K OLED display and a battery life of up to 21 hours. It comes in various form factors, such as laptop, tablet, and tent. It includes HP’s first consumer-level AI security solution, HP Wolf Security, which is meant to defend against AI-generated risks and cyber assaults.
“The OmniBook Ultra Flip is our response to the changing needs of today’s freelancers and creators,” stated Vineet Gehani, Senior Director of Personal Systems for HP India. The smartphone features a 9MP AI camera and Poly Audio for better virtual communication.
Key highlights
Key features include the Poly Camera Pro, which has AI-powered capabilities like Spotlight and Background Blur, and HP AI Companion for content analysis and PC optimization. The laptop also includes Copilot+ PC integration to boost efficiency and creativity.
HP has prioritized sustainability in the device’s design, including 90% recycled metals and 50% post-consumer recycled plastics. The laptop has received EPEAT Gold, Climate+, and ENERGY STAR certifications.
Customers will receive Adobe Photoshop Elements and Premier Elements worth Rs. 9,999 free with their purchase as part of a limited-time promotion that ends October 31, 2024. Additionally, HP is providing an 18-month no-cost EMI option via Bajaj Finance.
