Ibrahim Ali Khan recently stepped into Bollywood with Nadaaniyan, sharing the screen with Khushi Kapoor. However, the film has struggled to impress audiences, receiving largely underwhelming reviews, particularly from fans on social media who criticized its performances, script, and even its lighting. Amid the backlash, Hrithik Roshan’s mother, Pinkie Roshan, has now reacted to a harsh review that took a dig at the film.
An Instagram user named Freddy Birdy shared a blunt assessment of Nadaaniyan, stating, “Two things immediately disqualify me from writing a review for Nadaaniyan. One, I am not in my twenties. And two, I have a brain. Having got that little detail out of the way, I liked the fact that we are slowly steering back to the mindless romantic comedy, full emphasis on being mindless.”
While the review itself caught attention, it was Pinkie Roshan’s reaction that became a talking point. Engaging with the post, she commented, “Totally go with this hilarious review tho I loved Ibrahim Ali Khan.” Her response suggested that while she agreed with the critique, she still found Ibrahim’s performance commendable.
Nadaaniyan is directed by Shauna Gautam and backed by Karan Johar but despite its big names, it seems to have divided opinions among audiences and critics alike.
