Actress Sanvikaa, widely recognized for her portrayal of Rinki in the popular comedy-drama series ‘Panchayat’, starring Jitendra Kumar and Raghubir Yadav, recently shared a poignant and cryptic message on Instagram.
Her note delved into the struggles faced by those without industry connections, expressing a longing for a powerful background that she believes would have smoothed her path. She also conveyed profound frustration regarding a lack of respect and equitable treatment, hinting at unseen challenges. While the specifics of the incident remain unaddressed, her evocative post has quickly captured significant online attention.
In her latest Instagram story, Sanvikaa wrote, “Sometimes I wish I was an insider or maybe from a very powerful background, things would have been so much easier (maybe, I don’t know).” She elaborated on how being an outsider has amplified her struggles, adding, “As basic as getting respect and being treated as an equal. The battles would have been lesser. Hanging on…”
Sanvikaa, known for her role as Rinki, the daughter of Pradhanji and Manju Devi in ‘Panchayat,’ is currently anticipating the release of the highly-awaited ‘Panchayat’ Season 4, scheduled to premiere on June 24 on Amazon Prime Video.
Born Pooja Singh in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, Sanvikaa initially pursued an engineering degree but felt no inclination towards a conventional 9-to-5 career. In a YouTube interview last year, she openly discussed her unconventional career journey. She candidly revealed that she informed her parents she was heading to Bangalore for a job, but instead, she flew to Mumbai to chase her acting dreams.
In Mumbai, Sanvikaa encountered initial setbacks but soon secured work as an outfit assistant director. Concurrently, she actively auditioned for various projects, eventually landing a commercial advertisement within a few weeks. Her breakthrough arrived when she was cast as Rinki in ‘Panchayat,’ a role that propelled her into the limelight and made her a household name, sparking widespread discussions across social media. Following her success, she has appeared in several other OTT shows, including Ravi Dubey’s ‘Lakhan Leela Bhargava’ and ‘Hajamat’.
