Star youngsters Ibrahim Ali Khan and Rasha Thadani were first introduced to the world of India Couture Week (ICW) 2025 on Wednesday night by seasoned fashion designer JJ Valaya.
Rasha and Ibrahim both stole the show as they ended JJ Valaya’s fashion gala. They made their runway debut at the ICW grand finale wearing lavish outfits designed by JJ Valaya, who has been a trailblazer in India’s fashion industry since 1992.
Ibrahim caught everyone’s eye in a velvet sherwani and pathani-style trousers, while Rasha, the daughter of Bollywood star Raveena Tandon, walked down the runway in a royal lehenga.
Their attire combined contemporary fashion ideas with traditional Indian artistry.
Rasha briefly addressed the media after walking the ramp, expressing her joy at being chosen as JJ Valaya’s inspiration for the evening.
“2025 has been a year of many firsts for me. From Bachpan se I have watched my mom wearing JJ Valaya. I have his iconic prints… and now I feel so grateful to be able to be here and walk my first ramp walk at ICW wearing his design,” she said.
As he thought back on his decades-long connection with Raveena Tandon, JJ Valaya started to feel sentimental.
“I’ve always been working with Raveena, her mother. I’m working with her now. Therefore, it has two meanings for me. After working with the previous generation just as well, it’s truly unique for me to work with this one,” the designer said.
As a frequent user of social media, Raveena came across footage from the grand finale show where JJ Valaya talked about his relationship with Raveena and his feelings about working with Rasha Thandani.
Raveena shared the specific video on Instagram with the caption, “JJ Valaya, I love you, Nobody like you!”
