Rumors recently suggested that the film had been shelved due to Dhanush’s packed schedule, with commitments to Idly Kadai and Aanand L Rai’s Tere Ishq Mein. However, fresh reports have now dismissed those claims, confirming that the project is still very much in progress.
According to industry insiders, a major development has taken place behind the scenes. Tamil production giant AGS Entertainment has joined hands with Connekkt Media to co-produce the film, ensuring that it moves forward as planned. The script has already been finalized, and the movie is currently in the pre-production stage, setting the groundwork for what promises to be an exciting cinematic tribute to Ilaiyaraaja’s legendary career.
