The Indian Army has partnered with Mizoram State Cancer Institute to provide cancer treatment to Ex-Servicemen Contributory Health Scheme (ECHS) beneficiaries in Mizoram, facilitating cashless medical care.
On Monday, the Indian Army signed a Memorandum of Agreement with the Mizoram State Cancer Institute (MSCI) in Aizwal, Mizoram to treat ECHS beneficiaries who suffer from cancer.
A statement from MSCI, a leading cancer hospital, said the cooperation will deliver Cashless and Capless Medical Treatment to Ex-Servicemen Contributory Health Scheme (ECHS) participants in Mizoram, including Assam Rifles beneficiaries, at CGHS rates.
ECHS Regional Director Guwahati and MSCI Director Aizwal signed the agreement for Headquarters Eastern Command, HQ 101 Area, and Central Organization ECHS.
This arrangement will assist cancer patients and their families travel to Assam. The local Military Authority developed a hospital help center for the process.
