Sahil Kataria, a passenger on an IndiGo aircraft from Delhi to Goa, was arrested in a disturbing incident that was caught on camera after he reportedly assaulted co-captain Anup Kumar after a 13-hour flight delay. The pilot was reporting the delays due to strong fog when Kataria was seen charging at him in the footage, which went viral very fast. It was alleged that the passengers had been stuck aboard the plane for ten hours.
According to sources close to the Delhi Police, Sahil Kataria, the accused in the Indigo Brawl Case, claimed to have been married for five months and was travelling to Goa for his honeymoon during the early stages of the inquiry.
He said that his tour strategy and the never-ending wait caused him to act recklessly.
