That’s exactly what happened when Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda tied the knot on February 26 at the stunning ITC Mementos, located about 50 km from Udaipur.
While their wedding outfits and décor moments have already caught everyone’s attention, the couple has not officially shared details about their wedding feast. However, reports quoting on-ground sources reveal that the food was just as grand and meaningful as the ceremony itself.
After their morning Telugu wedding rituals, guests were treated to a lavish South Indian spread featuring around 25 carefully curated dishes. The menu beautifully brought together the flavours of Telangana-Andhra and Kodava cuisines, honouring traditions of both the families.
Served on traditional banana leaves, the feast included beloved South Indian classics such as natukodi pulusu, Hyderabadi dum biryani, garelu, pappu, pachhi pulusu, gongura chutney, and comforting curd rice.
To reflect Rashmika Mandanna’s Kodava heritage, the spread reportedly featured regional favourites like kadambuttu (rice dumplings), noolputtu, bamboo shoot curry, and the iconic pandi curry. It was a thoughtful way to celebrate her roots while blending them seamlessly with Vijay Deverakonda’s cultural background.
The dessert table was equally indulgent, offering Mysore pak, rasmalai, gulab jamun, and payasam. Throughout the celebrations, coconut water and buttermilk kept guests refreshed.
Interestingly, the couple had kicked off their wedding festivities with a sophisticated Japanese dinner, adding an international touch before diving into their traditional celebrations.
