The iPhone 17, scheduled for launch in September, may come in new colors. A new iPhone 17 Air is rumored to be part of the following lineup, maybe taking the place of the Plus model. According to recent reports, 120Hz screens are expected for the standard iPhone 17 and iPhone 17 Pro variants. According to a tipster, Apple is now testing additional color options for the iPhone 17 variants that aren’t Pro models. Only one hue may be made available to end customers despite two having been under consideration.

Possible New Color Options for the iPhone 17

Apple is evaluating green and purple color options for the iPhone 17 and iPhone 17 Air, according to tipster Majin Bu. The informant gave mock-ups of the anticipated phones in the rumored color selections. The latest iPhone 16 and 16 Plus seems to have a similar rear panel design.

Although the Cupertino-based tech giant is testing both green and purple color possibilities for the iPhone 17 and 17 Air, the tipster went on to say that only one of the two hues is anticipated to be released. The tipster suggests that the purple colorway might be the next option made available to the general public.

The source recently claimed that a sky-blue version of the iPhone 17 Pro might be released

Notably, the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus are available in Black, Pink, Teal, Ultramarine, and White colors. At the same time, the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max are offered in Black, Desert, Natural, and White titanium finishes.

Without the ProMotion feature, which is expected to be reserved for the more expensive Pro models, the standard iPhone 17 and iPhone 17 Air are anticipated to have 120Hz refresh rate displays. The A18 chipset that powers the iPhone 16 may also power the iPhone 17. Nonetheless, an A19 chip is expected to be used by the iPhone 17 Air.
