Filmmaker Vikram Bhatt has spoken out in defense of Aamir Khan’s relationship with Gauri Spratt at the age of 60. In a recent interview, Bhatt reflected on his own experience of finding love later in life and emphasized that age should never be a barrier to happiness. Having tied the knot at 50, he sees no reason why Aamir should not embrace companionship in his sixties.
“Well, if I can get married at 50, why can’t Aamir Khan find a partner at 60? Age is just a number. There’s no age for finding happiness. As life goes by, it stops being about the excitement of a relationship and sexuality. It starts becoming more and more about companionship and not being lonely,” Vikram Bhatt said in an interview.
He further elaborated on the importance of having a partner to share life’s journey, expressing his joy for Aamir Khan. “Having someone to hold your hand, someone to understand you, someone to say that it’s going to be alright. I’m very happy for Aamir if he has found that in a person. I wish him the best because he’s a great guy and deserves happiness,” he added.
Bhatt’s words highlight the changing perceptions of love and relationships, proving that companionship knows no age.
