The wait is over for Bigg Boss fans, as it has been revealed that popular actress Nia Sharma will be the first confirmed contestant for Bigg Boss 18. According to a report, Nia has signed the contract and is excited about her participation in Salman Khan’s reality show. A source shared that both Nia and the Bigg Boss team are thrilled to have her on board.
While there has been no official confirmation from Nia or the Bigg Boss team, her participation in the show could mean her departure from the ongoing cooking reality show Laughter Chefs. Nia has been part of the show, which also features popular stars such as Aly Goni, Rahul Vaidya, Ankita Lokhande, Karan Kundra, and others, and is hosted by Bharti Singh. If the reports are true, she may leave the show in the coming weeks.
Besides Nia Sharma, the makers of Bigg Boss 18 have reportedly approached several other big names from the television and film industry. The rumored list includes Zaan Khan, Meera Deosthale, Surbhi Jyoti, Kanika Mann, Shaheer Sheikh, Sameera Reddy, and Somy Ali. There is also speculation that Stree 2 actor Sunil Kumar could join the cast.
Additionally, it was also reported that Dheeraj Dhoopar is in discussions with the makers and might join as one of the highest-paid contestants this season.
Adding to the excitement, Abdu Rozik is expected to co-host a special segment of Bigg Boss 18 alongside Salman Khan. Salman recently shot a promo for the show, which is expected to premiere on October 5, 2024.
