Fans of Shah Rukh Khan are quite happy with the huge success of Jawan but they are also disappointed with one development and that is the absence of King Khan from Don 3. Don is one of the most successful franchises of Bollywood and the first two parts which starred SRK were big hits at the box-office but he is not going to be a part of the third installment.
The actor who has replaced Shah Rukh Khan is Ranveer Singh and recently, the director of the movie Farhan Akhtar revealed that he and SRK decided to part ways after they failed in finding a common ground. Here is what Farhan Akhtar stated, “I’m not in the position of replacing anybody. These are things that we discussed over the years, I wanted to take a certain direction with the story, somehow we just couldn’t find common ground. We just parted mutually knowing that it’s probably for the best. So that’s where it is.”
Talking about Ranveer Singh coming on board, Farhan said, “I’m really excited Ranveer’s on board. He’s so charged and so ready to go. It’s a big film, just purely from the point of view of an actor, it’s a big thing to do, and we’re really excited to have him on board. His energy is energizing us, so to speak.”
