Jadeja Reveals What Helped Him In Dismissing 3 Important Australian Batters

The Indian spinner Ravindra Jadeja wreaked havoc on the Australian cricket team as he dismissed three of their batters and played an important role in restricting the Australian team to 199 runs. The match was played at Chepauk stadium, Chennai which is like the second home to Jadeja as he has been playing for Chennai Super Kings in the IPL for quite a long time now.

Before dismissing Marnus Labuschagne and Alex Carey in one over, Jadeja also took wicket of Steve Smith. During the innings break when he was asked about his performance, he said, “I play for CSK so I know the conditions here, when I saw the pitch I thought I should get 2-3 wickets, luckily I got 3 wickets and am very happy. I was looking to bowl into the stumps and there was turn, you never know which one is going straight and which one is turning, the odd ball was turning and I was just mixing the pace.”

Jadeja gave 28 runs in his 10 overs and bowled tightly in tandem with other spinners.

The Indian team chased the target of 200 runs successfully with 52 balls remaining in their innings and a big credit goes to Virat Kohli (85 runs) and KL Rahul (97* runs) as they produced a partnership of 165 runs after India lost three batters at the score of 2.

Well played India!!
