Jadeja Talks About England’s Bazball Approach & How To Tackle It

The cricket teams of India and England will be clashing against each other in the third test match of the 5-match series at Rajkot starting from today (15 Feb). The series is already leveled at 1-1 and the English team has given a good fight to the Indian side till now.

The England cricket team plays an aggressive brand of cricket which they have termed as Bazball. Many former cricketers were of the opinion that Bazball may not work in India but England proved all of them wrong by winning the first test match. The critics came down heavily on England coach Brendon McCullum and skipper Ben Stokes after they lost the 2nd test match but they both have made it clear that they will stick to their approach, irrespective of the result.

On the eve of the third test, the Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja opened up on England’s style of playing cricket and said, “It’s not difficult to beat England. It’s just that they play cricket differently, a bit more attacking. So it’s about getting used to that and making plans accordingly.”

There are speculations that Sarfaraz Khan and Dhruv Jurel will be making their international debut in the third match and when Jadeja was asked about it, he said, “All these new boys have been playing First-Class cricket regularly, pakke pakkaya players hai. Kabhi na kabhi ye time aana hi tha (They were all ready, India call-up was inevitable). It’s good for them to start their career on home soil.”

Let’s see which team will win this test match.
