Jaideep Ahlawat, widely recognized for his impactful roles in acclaimed projects like Raazi and Paatal Lok, is once again making headlines — this time for his upcoming film Jewel Thief – The Heist Begins. But alongside the buzz surrounding his next release, fresh speculation has emerged linking him to Nitesh Tiwari’s much-awaited mythological epic, Ramayana, which features a star-studded cast led by Ranbir Kapoor.
As per a report, Jaideep was offered the role of Vibhishana, the virtuous brother of Ravana, in the ambitious cinematic adaptation of the epic. Sources suggest that he was genuinely interested in taking up the character. However, despite his enthusiasm, Jaideep ultimately had to decline the offer due to prior work obligations and scheduling conflicts that couldn’t be resolved.
Tiwari’s Ramayana is already generating immense anticipation, boasting an ensemble cast of notable names. Ranbir Kapoor leads as Lord Rama, with Sai Pallavi playing Sita and Yash stepping into the role of Ravana. The film also includes Sunny Deol, Lara Dutta, and Kunal Kapoor in key parts.
The project is being envisioned on a grand scale and will be released in two parts, further elevating the expectations surrounding it.
