Jaipur, Dausa, Tonk in Rajasthan Experience a 4.4 Magnitude Earthquake

Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan, has been hit by an earthquake with a Richter scale value of 4.4, according to the National Centre for Seismology.

The earthquake, which was detected at 4.09 am and had a magnitude of 4.4, was 10 km deep, according to the National Centre for Seismology (NCS).On Friday morning, a magnitude 4.4 earthquake with two aftershocks struck Rajasthan’s Jaipur, Dausa, and Tonk districts, causing alarm despite the fact that no fatalities were reported. The earthquake, which was detected at 4.09 am and had a magnitude of 4.4, was 10 km deep, according to the National Centre for Seismology (NCS). At 4.22 and 4.25 in the morning, mild earthquakes of magnitude 3.1 and 3.4 were experienced. The second earthquake’s depth, according to NCS, was five kilometers, and the third, 10 kilometers.

In a commonly shared video, nurses could be seen escorting patients out of Sawai Man Singh Hospital in Jaipur as the first earthquake struck. 15 patients were sent to the hospital with minor injuries brought on by panic. After receiving first aid, they were released.
