Bollywood star John Abraham has renewed the lease on his upscale apartment in Pali Hill, one of Mumbai’s most coveted celebrity addresses. Property registration documents show the actor will continue living in the luxury residence at a starting rent of ₹11 lakh per month, underscoring how the neighbourhood remains the preferred hub for the film industry’s biggest names.

John Abraham renews Pali Hill apartment lease for ₹11 lakh per month

According to property registration documents, John Abraham renewed the lease on February 6, 2026, for a premium apartment located in the Supreme ArtVeda residential project in Pali Hill.

The lease agreement is for two years, beginning with a monthly rent of ₹11 lakh. After the first 12 months, the rent will increase to ₹12.5 lakh per month, as outlined in the agreement.

The deal also includes a security deposit of ₹66 lakh, a standard structure for luxury rental agreements in high-demand neighbourhoods like Bandra.

This is not Abraham’s first stint in the property. Documents show the actor had initially leased the same apartment in 2023, continuing a trend among Bollywood celebrities who prefer long-term rental arrangements in premium areas.

Sometimes, staying put is simply easier.

The apartment spans a RERA carpet area of 3,158 sq ft, with an additional balcony space of 97.62 sq ft, bringing the total usable area to 3,255.75 sq ft.

Located in Pali Hill, the property sits in one of Mumbai’s most prestigious residential enclaves. The neighbourhood has long been synonymous with celebrity living, offering privacy, greenery, and proximity to key film industry hubs.

For actors and producers who frequently commute between film sets, the location matters. Bandra’s strategic proximity to studios in Andheri, Versova, Juhu, and Goregaon Film City has made it a natural residential base for the industry.

It’s where work and lifestyle quietly intersect.

Why Pali Hill remains Bollywood’s favourite residential hub

Over the decades, Pali Hill in Bandra has evolved into one of Mumbai’s most exclusive celebrity clusters. Several actors, producers, and industry veterans have chosen the area for its blend of prestige and convenience.

Being located close to Andheri’s production studios and the city’s entertainment offices allows film personalities to minimise travel time in Mumbai’s notoriously heavy traffic.

There’s also the neighbourhood’s legacy factor. Generations of Bollywood stars have lived here, turning Pali Hill into a symbolic address for film industry success.

That reputation still holds strong today.

Celebrity property deals signal a busy 2026 for Mumbai real estate

Abraham’s lease renewal comes amid a noticeable wave of celebrity real estate activity in Mumbai this year.

In February 2026, actor Ishaan Khatter purchased a luxury apartment in Pali Hill for ₹29.37 crore. The flat, located in Navroz Apartments under the Navroze Premises Co-operative Society, spans 2,989.05 sq ft and was registered on February 5.

Earlier, superstar Shah Rukh Khan leased two lavish duplex apartments in nearby Khar for a total rent of ₹8.67 crore over three years, according to property registration documents.

Meanwhile, actress Madhuri Dixit recently leased office space in Lower Parel, while Shraddha Kapoor renewed the lease on her Juhu apartment earlier this year.

Together, these deals highlight a broader trend: Bollywood’s continued investment—both residential and commercial—in Mumbai’s premium property market.

For now, John Abraham appears content staying in familiar surroundings. But the flurry of celebrity property transactions in 2026 suggests something larger at play: Mumbai’s luxury real estate market continues to thrive on the enduring appeal of Bollywood.
