Starting on Friday, March 1, in Jamnagar, Gujarat, the pre-wedding celebrations for Anant Ambani, the youngest son of Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani, and Radhika Merchant, the daughter of businessman Viren Merchant, commenced.
The second day of Anant Radhika’s pre-wedding events had the themes of “A Walk on the Wildside,” “Mela Rouge,” a potpourri of desi activities in the guests’ favorite south Asian garb, and “jungle fever,” which suggested a dress code. The “Walk on the Wildside” took place outside at Jamnagar’s Vantara, the Ambanis’ animal rescue and rehabilitation facility.
The youngest son of Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani, Anant Ambani, and the daughter of industrialist Viren Merchant, Radhika Merchant, started their three-day pre-wedding celebrations in Jamnagar, Gujarat, on Friday, March 1.
‘A Walk on the Wildside’ was the theme for the second day of Anant Radhika’s pre-wedding festivities, with ‘jungle fever’ serving as the suggested dress code and ‘Mela Rouge,’ a mix of desi activities in the guests’ preferred south Asian attires. The Ambanis’ Jamnagar animal rescue and rehabilitation facility, Vantara, hosted the outdoor “Walk on the Wildside.”
The ceremony is being held at the Reliance Greens Complex in Jamnagar and is being attended by around 2,000 people, including Microsoft founder Bill Gates, Bollywood stars Deepika Padukone, Ranbir Kapoor, and Sidharth Malhotra, and CEO of Meta Mark Zuckerberg. To meet the second day’s theme, each of these guests displayed their clothes with prints of flowers, birds, tigers, and other animals.
On March 1, the first day of the event, visitors dressed in elegant cocktail attire with the theme “An Evening in Everland.” Highlights of the first day of celebrations included a drone show, a Cirque du Soleil performance, and Rihanna’s first-ever appearance in India.
Because the Ambani family has strong ties to Jamnagar, the city is very significant to them, which is why the celebrations are taking place there.
