Mayank Yadav, the Lucknow Super Giants pacer has made huge waves in the IPL 2024 because of his raw pace but unfortunately we are not able to see him for the last few matches as he is injured. It was said that he might play in the match against Chennai Super Kings but he didn’t play and left his fans disappointed.
Ahead of the match against CSK, the assistant coach of LSG, Lance Klusener said, “I am not sure regarding his (Mayank Yadav’s) participation in tomorrow’s match against Chennai. He has been bowling in the nets but his fitness is our priority. But can’t say anything regarding his participation.”
Now the head coach Justin Langer has given an important update about Mayank Yadav’s return to the team. He said, “He is working really hard. He bowled really well this morning. We want to get him back as soon as possible. Fingers crossed, he will be back and roaring again in the next game or so.”
Yesterday LSG defeated CSK by 8 wickets in the match which was played at Ekana Sports City, Lucknow and now LSG will face CSK in their reverse match immediately after their first match at Chepauk stadium, Chennai.
Fingers crossed, let’s see when Mayank Yadav comes back.
